Queensyard is an all-day dining venue in the newly built Hudson Yards complex, guided by the historic memory of Hudson Yard’s function as a rail yard, which has been presented in a modern fashion. The design responds to the energy and excitement of a live-work-play destination, merging the warm ambiance of an English country home with modern and natural materials and bespoke craftsmanship to create a unique and homelike setting.

Bluebird London at the Time Warner Center is the first outlet of an established UK brand and restaurant in New York City. Through the use of color, pattern, art, and culture, the restaurant’s design is inspired by Britain’s most creative midcentury era, merging a New York attitude with the irreverent spirit of the UK.
The design is intended as a procession of unique rooms with a curated art selection to support and offer continuity amongst a variety of dining experiences – café/wine bar, gallery, bar area, main dining room, and private dining area – adapting to the existing deep, twisting site.

This floating “culinary hamlet” is housed in a three-story crystalline volume atop Heron Tower, the city’s tallest structure. SUSHISAMBA London, a renowned Brazilian/Peruvian/Japanese restaurant, and Duck & Waffle, a distinctive 24/7 restaurant inspired by British creative and culinary traditions, are both located in the space. All three levels are connected by a sculptural orange glass and metal stairway with a wall of street art. The design idea and elements complement the unique position and vistas, fusing the inside and outdoor experiences.

This tapas-style grill offers an altogether new brand for the SUSHISAMBA family of restaurants, delivering a unique combination of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian food. Guests are immediately immersed in an authentic and transformative space that resembles the Brazilian slum and incorporates salvaged ironwork, aged wood floors, recycled shutters, multilayered paints, and old ceiling fans suspended from 15-foot ceilings. All of this contributes to the restaurant’s appearance as a decades-old attraction with a rich history and character.
