Sheffield Sky Club
The conversion and rebranding of this former rental property, curated by CetraRuddy, is located at the center of New York’s fashion and publishing worlds adjacent to Columbus Circle and Central Park. 580 expansive European-style homes were created through the combination and reconfiguration of 845 generic floor plans.
Galleria
The interior design and interior architecture program, by CetraRuddy, of this five-star, 373-key luxury hotel and retail center addresses its presence as a sophisticated shopping and hospitality destination. A dramatic two-story sculptural lobby lounge allows guests to absorb the architectural majesty of the building’s dramatic eight-story atrium.
Sugarcane Miami
This tapas-style grill, designed by CetraRuddy, offering a unique fusion of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian cuisine, creates an entirely new brand for the SUSHISAMBA family of restaurants. Guests are immediately immersed in an authentic and transformational space that evokes the Brazilian favela and features extensive use of distressed and found materials.
Starwood Aloft
This project for a 200-key hotel of CetraRuddy was one of the first Aloft properties which established Starwood’s green select service brand as an eco-conscious, upscale yet affordable offering. Working collaboratively with Starwood’s prototype design team, the Aloft standards were adapted for this dense urban site. The building’s dynamic façade serves as a beacon for its destination with its metal panels “peeling” away from the glass to create depth.
Cassa NY
This boutique hotel and luxury condominium, designed by CetraRuddy, is a powerful addition to the midtown Manhattan skyline. The transfer of adjacent property air rights allowed the construction of a slender 45-story tower on this mid-block site. The glistening silver-gray prefabricated metal facade is punctuated with windows arranged in a kinetic pattern that reflects the building’s midtown location.
Choice Marina
The architecture of South India’s most luxurious waterfront resort reflects its sensitive waterfront location and has been designed for maximum energy efficiency and sustainability. In response to the unique tropical climate, the elegantly sculpted structure is oriented to reduce solar heat gain and to minimize the impact of monsoons without compromising views.
Hilton Garden Inn
This Hilton Garden Inn by CetraRuddy addition houses a new ballroom venue and late-night restaurant and lounge, allowing the property to further expand its position as an area destination. The design includes a new private grand entrance and lobby lounge, finished in richly textured fabrics and metals and including a fireplace within a dramatic stone wall.
Sugarcane Dumbo
Located within the Empire Stores building, a Civil War era landmark cargo warehouse in DUMBO’s Historic District, Sugarcane DUMBO is layered with history and culture. Celebrating the building’s unique past, the design approach minimally impacts this monumental space, maintaining an authenticity that reveals and celebrates the bones of the existing space.
SushiSamba London/D&W
This floating “culinary village” is set in a three-story crystalline volume at the top of Heron Tower, the tallest building in the City of London. The space is home to both SUSHISAMBA London, the renowned Brazilian/Peruvian/Japanese restaurant, and Duck & Waffle, a unique 24/7 restaurant that is inspired by British artistic and culinary traditions.
20 Stories
Situated on the top floor of the tallest building in Manchester, 20 Stories is a restaurant of Manchester, honoring the city’s past while creating a dynamic, modern space that speaks to the future. Designed by CetraRuddy as a “garden in the sky” and inspired by the way of nature and the ever-changing Manchester skyline as seen from the roof, the space embraces elements of luminosity and reflectivity while incorporating tactile materials, changes of color and organic forms.
