1.Lord Amherst Hotel in Amherst- NY, USA
The Gettys Group partnered with Iskalo Development Corporation to renovate and rebrand the Lord Amherst Hotel in Amherst, NY. The hotel interior design was created to accentuate comfort with a touch of whimsy: elegant but approachable, the spaces exhibit the colonial revivalism of Duane Lyman’s original design while elevating Reikart House to a modern destination for locals and visitors alike. In order to perfectly integrate those classic and contemporary touches, Gettys Group procured locally sourced furnishings that convey warmth with a wink of fun.

2. The Blackstone Hotel- Chicago, USA
With the recognition of Architectural Digest as The Most Beautiful Hotel in Every State in America, the interior design renovation of The Blackstone Hotel quickly brought a new perspective to reflect its new place in Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
This hotel interior design project shows itself as a living room of the South Loop. This duality manifests in more than pairing the hotel’s past with its future: national leaders staying in the Presidential Suite are a foil to the less-than-lawful gatherings of mobsters in the Smoke-Filled Room; sun-drenched guestrooms overlooking Lake Michigan contrast moody and intimate event spaces. Through careful design selections, these dichotomies build a compelling whole — no smoke and mirrors required.
3. LUXURY HOTEL- Doha, QATAR
Situated on its own private island resort, this luxury hotel in Doha combines exclusive elegance with traditional Arabian hospitality.
With 374 guest rooms, 61 luxury suites and 42 club rooms, along with eight restaurants and bars, two ballrooms, a world-class spa and a 235-slip marina, this luxury hotel provided the Gettys | BLU team with the opportunity to created the preeminent hotel interior design in Qatar.
4. HARD ROCK Hotel & Casino- PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic
With a recognition of U.S. News Rankings #9 Best Punta Cana Hotels and U.S. News Rankings #5 Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos. The Gettys Group entered into a new joint venture with all-inclusive world leader Palace Resorts and The Hard Rock Hotel Development Group to create The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, the largest casino in the Dominican Republic.
The hotel interior design succeeded to converted an existing resort’s neutral palette into an energetic Hard Rock Hotel and Casino by layering vibrant colours, using dramatic lighting, playing with textures and utilizing playful memorabilia from the Hard Rock library. The result was an unforgettable, chic statement that brought the Hard Rock essence to life. The renovation included the guestrooms, suites and public areas.

5. OLAYA HOTEL- RIYADH, Saudi Arabia
For this extensive adaptive reuse project, the Gettys | BLU team leveraged their collective experience and expertise to convert an existing office building into a luxury hotel in the heart of the growing Financial District in Saudi Arabia’s thriving capital city.
6. SANIBEL HARBOUR MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA- Florida, USA
The hotel interior design – a Deep South-inspired plantation style – created a full-scale master-planned design project encompassing a hotel and conference centre, plus five food & beverage outlets ranging from fine dining to a new concept coffee and ice cream bar plus Charley’s Cabana Bar, a sunset terrace lounge. The next phase included renovating the entirety of the resort’s guest rooms and suites, complete with Gettys trademark turnkey design and procurement solution.
7. The Godfrey Hotel- Chicago, USA
The Gettys Group and Oxford Capital contributed something special to the character of Chicago when we partnered with Valerio Dewalt Train, the architecture firm known for the kind of cubism-inspired design.
The hotel lobby is ovular in shape, full of natural light and appointed with gleaming marble finishes. Its centrepiece is a chandelier of luminous, off-kilter concentric circles reminiscent electrons rings around an atomic nucleus. In the guest rooms, a comfortable, muted palette offers a calming space that inspires both relaxation and productivity. Strong, clean lines and impressionist art pieces frame the space; large windows, strategically-placed mirrors and lots of chrome make good use of natural light.
8. VISUN VILLAS RESORT- Haikou, Hainan Island, China
The three-story duplex consists of 54 detached coastal cottages which can be leased as guest units. The hotel interior design was inspired by the breathtaking views and vistas offered by this waterfront location, the Visuan Villas harken back to playful summer holidays.The residences blend masculine and feminine details through structured and soft, organic details. Getty Group created a warm yet contemporary feel, designed with local, sustainable materials that gently enhance the natural aesthetics of the region to include a modern residential design expression.
9. The Mayflower Hotel- Washington D.C., USA
The Gettys Group renovated The Mayflower Hotel, Washington D.C.’s largest luxury hotel. The hotel interior design refined the space with timeless relevance and incorporated the signature experiences of the Autograph Collection. The design firm created a neutral palette of greys and whites with accents of jewel tones as a theme for the new carpeting, furniture, lighting, wallpaper and other finishes throughout the hotel. Each guestroom is an extension this crisp palette, with further accents of purple to present a stately tone.
10. WESTIN ATLANTA PERIMETER NORTH- Georgia, USA
The hotel interior design kept the spaces inviting and flexible while infusing them with subtle elements inspired by Georgia’s distinctive landscape throughout the new design. Setting a pleasant and sophisticated tone for the property at its entrance, the vertical garden is a double-sided feature with integrated seating. In the lobby is a Cherokee Rose-themed carpet, and behind the front desk is a modern representation of the Georgia state tree, created with laser-cut, back-lit feature wall. The focal point of the space is a striking, custom-made, signature iron sculpture, created by local artist Andrew T. Crawford.
