In keeping with the surrounding historical architecture, the design utilizes a neoclassical scheme that references the legacy of Shanghai’s colonial past.
The hotel interior design for Bellagio Shanghai Bund is expressed through the lens of couture fashion, with reinterpreted silhouettes, textures and embellishments which pays homage to the glamour and optimism of the Art Deco era. The decadent lobby with an impressive grand staircase and a colour palette of dramatic creams and blacks are accented stylishly with champagne and emerald fabrics.

Hotel 50 Bowery, the first Joie de Vivre property in New York, captures the spirit of change on one of New York’s oldest streets. The hotel interior design atmospheric hallways are punctuated by subtle lanterns and large, bold works of art from Beijing-based graffiti artist, Dake Wong. Bold red, symbolizing joy and good fortune, marks the entrance to each guestroom.
Light filled guest room design features industrial materials, original artwork, and signature hand-plastered headboards, with a hint of Asian chinaware in the blue and white colour scheme.
