A lively blue and yellow color palette, velvet and leather furnishings, wooden window shutters, checkered floors and courtyard concepts – they all come from various local elements and enrich the restaurant with Indian culture.
The Kitchen: Muscat, Oman
The modern interior design restaurant is derived from the core roots set in Oman, a faceted interpretation of the regional landscapes, textures and palette. The guest experience starts by leading diners down a deconstructed path that gently guides them to explore culinary delights. Through this faceted path, the guests will discover the various staging counters angular in form and topped with a travertine effect composite. Cozy seating groups are playfully placed throughout and divided by tall, bronzed screens leading to outdoor seating areas. The Kitchen is a true gem for culture and aesthetics lovers.
Pickett’s Deli & Rotisserie: Melbourne, Australia
HBA designers developed a contemporary deli gourmet rotisserie that juxtaposes a modern-day lifestyle and fine culinary experience against the historic backdrop of the Queen Victoria Market. Creating a captivating, moody atmosphere, HBA designed a dark, masculine scheme accompanied by towering display shelves and 80-year-old reclaimed Tasmanian Oak floors that pay homage to the restaurant’s historic market location. The aged heritage substrate of the building, display shelves and bespoke lighting pendant harmoniously blended the restaurant’s location with the vibrancy of the deli’s modern decor.
Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou: Guangzhou, China
Challenging perceptions of hotel design, HBA sets a new benchmark for avant-garde with the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. The project is architecturally dramatic for its triangular tower, diagonal lattice and soaring, 30-floor-high atrium. In a subtle reference to the hotel brand, the screen is themed around the four seasons, from spring in the basement to fall in the upper reaches. The restaurant greets the guests with a sophisticated luxury and modern decor.
Il Lago dei Cigni: St. Petersburg, Russia
The centerpiece of the interior is devoted to “Il Lago dei Cigni” – Swan Lake” in Italian. HBA’s interior design carefully frames the surface of the water with pastoral greens seen through panoramic, floor-to-ceiling windows. The fragile beauty of Russian nature is underscored by an exceptionally unique column/chandelier in the form of a weeping willow tree. The northern shore of the lake is edged by the finest materials from around the world: selenite from India, teak from Indonesia, furnishings from Italy and lamps made of English design in the Czech Republic. Thus in the modern interior design of this Italian haute-cuisine restaurant you can find a marvelous combination of different cultures.
Fairmont Lake Louise Lakeview Bar & Lounge: Lake Louise, Canada

The Alpina Gstaad: Gstaad, Switzerland
HBA took the traditional chalet form of the building into the interior design and gave it a contemporary feeling. Warm reclaimed rustic timber forms the envelope to most of the spaces and there are many references to local customs and craft skills, from elaborately hand-painted ballroom doors in the manner of centuries-old farmers’ paintings to intricate patterning embroidered onto some of the armchairs. Such modern interior design gives you a home-away-from-home feeling.
Hotel Maria Cristina: San Sebastian, Spain
