Located on the fifth floor of the new Trinity Leeds shopping centre, Crafthouse is one of two D&D London restaurants split over two floors, their first in the UK outside of London. The 144-cover space offers views across the city from within the restaurant or on the dedicated outside terrace, and pays homage to Leeds’ rich culture and heritage with sympathetic design.
The Raffles Hotel has been the ‘people’s local’ of Perth for nearly 120 years – from the ‘refreshments at the dancehall’ days of the 1800’s, the swinging social scene of the 40’s and 50’s and her rock’n’roll phase of the 70’s & 80’s. Now this glorious heritage-listed art deco hotel in Perth has entered her latest phase. A sophisticated riverside public house, The Raffles Hotel has been artfully refreshed and respectfully remodelled to accommodate whatever scene Perth’s citizenry can bring to her beautiful rooms, balconies and beergarden today.
Conran Contract worked closely with Blacksheep and Brasserie Blanc on their expansion. Through the process and strong aesthetic and identity can be seen in the restaurants whilst remaining true to the authenticity of the brand. “Charlotte Street is full of creative vibe and character and our brasserie here fits right in. Newly refurbished it offers an authentically French space for locals to enjoy.”
The modern British favourite includes a restaurant, bar and a deli and serves British and comfort food classics in a relaxed and informal environment. It has quickly become a popular destination for the residents and beyond. In addition to intimate booths and spacious tables in the main restaurant, the restaurant features a relaxed outdoor terrace seating area. Conran Contracts worked closely with “Michaelis Boyd Associates” to design a rustic and industrial theme, focusing on materials like chunky wood, concrete, corroded steel & marble.
The hotel stands at the crossroads of intimacy and neighbourly charm. Centrally located, the hotel preserves the historical essence of Granary Island, a cultural landmark situated on the Baltic Coast.
