Milan Design Week is an event full of many great initiatives to see in the area of design and we’re having a deeper look at yet another more you can see in April. We’re talking about the Superdesign Show by Superstudio Group.

The Superdesign Show deeply explores design and architecture but also talks
about technology, materials, urbanism. Over the course of the years, this event has seen some of the top companies and designers participate, including names such as Moooi, Tom Dixon, Nendo, Foscarini, Paola Navone, among others. This is also one of many spaces that provides an opportunity for  Italian and international emerging brands to get some networking done to potential clients and other business opportunities.

Superdesign Show is one of Tortona’s biggest showcases counting with a huge area of  15.000 sq.mt which welcomes over 100.000 registered visitors every year. In here you can find several areas of the exhibition. Among some of the most relevant are Art Point  (an open space-box for the realization of highly emotional projects and set design), Central Point (filled with pieces of interior design, lighting, green, technology, flooring, urban furniture, and much more), Gallery (used entirely by big exhibitors), First Space-Lab-Loft (the area which hosted important installations of single companies), Daylight (the most industrial area benefitting from a ton of natural light), and more.

When it comes to the outside another area that is usually very regarded is the Art Garden: a green space of 1200 sq.mt that has mature high trunk trees and many impressive fashion sculptures made by Flavio Lucchini (historic art director of Vogue). Superdesign Show is really unmissable.

The Superdesign Show is almost 20 years old and it’s still considered one of the most relevant initiatives in Milan when it comes to showcasing the best of international design in the city. To get to this wonderful exhibition you have to go to Superstudio Più, via Tortona 27, Milan.
