1.Luxury Resort and Convention Hotel- Doha, Qatar
The sculptural concrete structure is composed of a four-level podium that includes public and private amenities as well as guestrooms, over which a six-level podium element houses hotel guestrooms, suites, and a rooftop restaurant. These are all covered by expansive green roofs and mashrabiya veil canopies that improve the exterior environments, create gardens, nature walks and ecosystems that can be enjoyed during the cooler months, as well as interior gardens that can be experienced year-round.
Upon entering the property, the hotel’s main reception is complimented by lounges, restaurants, and retail outlets, its focal point a monumental atrium with a vertical “oxygen garden” that includes flora from around the globe, which guests will experience as they travel to their guest rooms, the spa, restaurants, retail, and the convention center.

The design’s modern expression, overall planning, and geological language are directly tied to the layout of the city of Riyadh. The design takes cues for a variety of local influences, from the environment to culture to materials.
The interior design takes advantage of the light and layered exterior by creating internal spaces that take advantage of the light reflected from the banded facade. The interior spaces maximized natural light using filtered sunlight and create open grand spaces. The interior design derives its inspiration from the local environment as well. 5. Jumeirah Emirates Hotel Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel is a luxury business hotel located within the Emirates Towers complex in Dubai, UAE. As a luxury property, continuous refurbishments must be made to ensure guest satisfaction, the most recent of which consisted of the lobby lounge and four prestigious luxury suites.
The suites are singular in theme, no two the same. Varied color schemes, patterns, and materials were used to achieve each unique experience. The Royal Suite is reminiscent of a Middle Eastern Royalty. Materials such as wedge wood, gold leaf, and hand-tufted carpeting, were blended with vernacular design elements like mashrabiyah paneling. The Versace Suite uses branding cues to tie the guestroom theme together. Gold accents and the use of Versace’s colors and patterns create a luxurious experience for guests.
6. Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island al Marjan Island L.L.C Ras Al Khaima, United Arab Emirates
The juxtaposed massing of the low rise structures is oriented to maximize views towards the sea – framed by sunrise and sunset while minimizing southern exposure. Continuous balconies extend the guestrooms from inside to out while providing self-shading to ensure comfort and minimize energy consumption in the cooler months.
The minimal material palate of the facade translates seamlessly to the interiors with a focus on refined details and ergonomics. Architecture and interiors that are essential – deferring to context with a landscape that moves seamlessly from inside to out – celebrating the environment in as a collection of memorable experience.
7. Galleria Hotel – Fort Lauderdale, Florida
The new mixed-use community expansion anticipates 8 development sites on 11 acres of existing mall surface parking lots. The end goal is to completely restore the existing surroundings around the mall’s property through new roadways, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and enhanced landscape zones.
The 38-story hotel will be the first building constructed for the multi-phased development. It is comprised of a 378 unit tower atop a 163 key hotel with 50,000 square feet roof terrace amenity deck.
8. Boutique Business Hotel- United Arab Emirates
To assure the goal was achieved, material, finish and furnishing selection was crucial. Local patterns, artwork, and accessories were meticulously researched and implemented throughout the hotel design to confirm the desired aesthetic.
