Buildings, structure, and pools were refinished in the natural colors of the landscape and sea by HKS Architects. All millwork, furniture, lighting, accessories, and textiles were custom designed and crafted in Mexico, lending Esperanza a new sense of artistry and romance. With amazing hotel interior design, the resort was ranked a Readers’ Choice top western Mexico resort by Conde Nast Traveler in 2016.

4. Four Seasons Resort Hualālai at Historic Ka‘ūpūlehu KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII
The Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, inspired by the architecture of traditional Hawaiian villages, illustrates the concept of kipuka, or oasis – a lushly landscaped paradise surrounded by molten lava flows.
The hotel interior design of the lobby, restaurants, and spa was created as open-air pavilions offering unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. The golf clubhouse is sited to views to the 18th fairway of the Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. 6. MGM National Harbor- PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MARYLAND
HKS Architects designed MGM National Harbor to be a striking landmark to its community and a gateway into Maryland. MGM National Harbor draws inspiration from the strength and timeless qualities of the capital’s architectural legacy. A preference for “white architecture” was established to respect the marble structures in the District, and the vision called for a landmark tower inspired by the Washington Monument.
Casino and hotel guests arrive through a glass-enclosed conservatory bathed in natural light. The 80-foot tall conservatory, lined with restaurants and high-end shopping, celebrates the moment of arrival and is the heart of the property. Rising 24-stories, the hotel tower is the project’s landmark. It’s angled and knife-like edge recalls the strong vertical form of the Washington Monument. The hotel interior design features a landscaped roof deck provides a gathering space and an expansive area for indoor-outdoor dining. A stunning project by HKS Architects.
7. Hotel Saint George- MARFA, TX
Marfa is a west Texas town revered for its austere beauty, understated vistas, and internationally acclaimed art scene. This context inspired and underpins HKS Architects’ vision for the interior design of the Hotel Saint George. The 55-key hotel interior design is characterized by its refined, yet relaxed, design and boutique accommodations.
The hotel’s minimal, sophisticated spaces are punctuated by vintage and custom furniture pieces from both high and humble origins, along with a world-class art collection that evokes the distinct spirit of Marfa. HKS Architects created a refined, yet unpretentious, design language to define the hotel interior design. Reclaimed materials, including brick, marble, and wood from local sites, stand in warm juxtaposition to industrial finishes such as cold-rolled steel and concrete floor, lending the interiors a distinctive character.
8. Ananda in the Sahyadris- MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

Ananda features 20 individual villa suites, 50 branded residences and a 60-key hotel that faces the largest lake of the property.
