1. Hilton Chicago- Chicago, IL
Casual elegance in a historical context was the guiding idea behind the hotel interior design renovation of the Chicago Hilton ground floor food and beverage venues. A new restaurant and buffet area opens up to the main hall.
A small ceiling rotunda reaches out to the new bar that opens to a tall lounge space that faces Grant Park. A quick service venue provides a variety of quality options to guests at all times of the day. Aria Group worked with the landmarks commission and local community groups adding a new entry to the lounge of Michigan Ave.
2. Hyatt McCormick- Chicago, IL
Aria Group designed four new hotel interior design at the Hyatt Hotel adjacent to McCormick Place. They included a contemporary casual café, an upscale restaurant with an indoor patio and hide-away buffet, a tapas bar and a plush lounge. Hyatt’s concern was to create a clear circulation path for conventioneers to McCormick Place while creating flexibility to accommodate dramatic variations of occupancy and users.
Aria Group achieved this by creating moveable layers and visual buffers allowing our client flexibility to independently activate separate areas as needed per occupant loads and time of day, making a great hotel interior design characteristic.
3. Hyatt Place- Lombard, IL
The hotel interior design concept was a “home away from home” complete with a variety of food and beverage choices available day and night. The first Hyatt Place in Lombard was a conversion of an existing Amerisuites.
Aria Group designed comfortable lounge areas, an eat-in kitchen with pantry and an upscale coffee/ espresso bar. It received an award for best lobby and public space design from the Hotel World’s Global Hospitality and Design Award.
4. Palmer House Hilton, Lockwood Restaurant and Potter’s Lounge- Chicago, IL
Potter Palmer completed his first hotel in September of 1871 but just 2 weeks later the building fell victim to the Great Chicago Fire. Since then the hotel has been re-built twice where the current building, designed by Holabird & Roche in 1923, now stands.
Aria Group worked at the hotel interior design to re-energize the Lockwood Restaurant with a subtle casual elegance and more clearly define the historical significance of the hotel with modifications to Potter’s Lounge.
5. Eagle Ridge Inn and Conference Center- Galena, IL
Aria Group designed the Eagle Ridge Inn and Conference Facility along with the clubhouse for the General Golf Course. The Inn includes 20 unique guest rooms, restaurants, lounge, conference and ballroom.
The clubhouse for the General is sited to maximize the views of this amazing golf course. In both buildings, local natural Limestone and heavy timber structure provide warm yet dramatic spaces.
