Hyatt’s concern was to create a clear circulation path for conventioneers to McCormick Place while creating flexibility to accommodate dramatic variations of occupancy and users.

Aria Group designed comfortable lounge areas, an eat-in kitchen with pantry and an upscale coffee/ espresso bar. It received an award for best lobby and public space design from the Hotel World’s Global Hospitality and Design Award.
4. Palmer House Hilton, Lockwood Restaurant and Potter’s Lounge- Chicago, IL
Potter Palmer completed his first hotel in September of 1871 but just 2 weeks later the building fell victim to the Great Chicago Fire. Since then the hotel has been re-built twice where the current building, designed by Holabird & Roche in 1923, now stands.
