4. BOULDER MARRIOTT- Boulder, Colorado
The Marriott Boulder’s captivating surroundings inspired the revitalized design of the hotel’s reception and lounge areas. LEO A DALY interior design team created a refined reception and lounge area with an understated casual atmosphere.
The reception’s simple design of dark woods and neutral tones allows for the artwork to be the main focus of the area. Guests relax once entering the hotel’s lobby and view the reception desk that features art inspired by nature in the region. A piece of light grey reclaimed wood features a large buffalo as the subject. A knot in the wood becomes the buffalo’s eye.
5. BEVERLY HILLS MARRIOTT- Los Angeles, California
The renowned style and glamour of Beverly Hills was the inspiration for the conversion of this local property to the new hotel interior design of Beverly Hills Marriott. Designers sought to create a sleek feel that would appeal to guests seeking California’s modern, energized luxury. The porte-cochere was redesigned for an elegant greeting. The lobby features bold high-gloss finishes, while the detailed marble floors laid in a chevron pattern lead guests to social areas.
The great room was designed with contemporary touches, creating where guests feel a part of something special. Mimicking the interior design of a luxury automobile, the neutral palette of taupe, brown and ivory are highlighted by polished chrome accents.

The interior design firm team intertwined the fine details of couture fashion with water. The murals feature a colour scheme of warm ocean blues and reds that continue throughout the space creating pops of colour that stand out against a neutral colour palette of warm taupe.
8. COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT BOSTON DOWNTOWN TREMONT- Boston, Massachusetts
Located in the heart of the historic Boston Theater District, renovations were inspired by the 1925 grandeur of the original hotel. Public areas, meeting spaces, and guest rooms are designed using a classic black and white colour palette, with shades of plum and chartreuse to portray a sense of modern glamour.
9. CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL KEY WEST-LA CONCHA- Key West, Florida
The multimillion-dollar renovation of guest rooms and suites for this historic Old Key West hotel harkens back to the Ernest Hemingway novel, “To Have or Have Not”, where the hotel and Key West played major roles. The homage to Hemingway is seen in the inclusion of built-in sofas at windows, writing desks, and custom built-in bookcases in each suite.
A Cuban influence is reflected in the use of wood shutters in place of drapes and the addition of blue ceilings to each room. Existing balconies, with views of historic Duval Street, were treated with new furniture. To integrate a modern hotel interior design feel in each guest room, designers used artwork inspired by local roosters, a revered creature on the island.
