St. Regis Astana, Kazakhstan
To begin this list of best hotels, WATG and Wimberly Interiors used the hotel’s location to inspire a design that highlights the distinct cultural heritage of Astana. The design takes a traditional, yet grand approach to luxury hotel design, using a hierarchy of spaces and forms to make the building an icon within the cityscape.

The brief for Michael Fiebrich Design was to create Australia’s most luxurious suite and when guests enter and gaze over the sweeping views of the skyline and surrounding river from this exclusive suite, the designers believe the space delivers. The suite includes two luxurious bedrooms, expansive lounge areas and a glamorous dining room, all with incredible panoramic views, which round out the luxurious offerings of this exclusive suite, making sense to be considered one of the best hotels.

Shangri-La Hotel Singapore
Bond Design Studio Inc. have brought the garden inside the hotel and used this concept for the interiors in many ways, such as the stone feature wall, black stone pool and bird pattern carpet in the lounge. This was a renovation project, in the first established Shangri-la hotel, so the main challenge Bond Design Studio Inc. faced was the need to keep the hotel brand image. They started with decoding the brand background and carefully sophisticating it. Keeping the history of the hotel and at the same time modernising it. This was the biggest challenge that Bond Design Studio Inc. faced within the whole project, being worth it for its place as one of the best hotels in the world.
