1. Sheraton Madagascar Hotel- Antananarivo, Madagascar
Completed in 2017, Areen Hospitality offers a full design and procurement package, including interior design services and procurement of FF&E and OS&E. The interiors spaces incorporate a strong flavour of the locality and the Malagasy heritage; from striking, patterns and colours, to interior architecture and metalwork.
With a strong local influence, Areen Design incorporated the striking patterns and colours to the outstanding hotel. Counting with a library bar, ballroom and spa, The standards international travellers expect from Sheraton have still been provided.

2. J.W. Marriott- Tétouan, Morocco
Also completed in 2017, Areen Hospitality Design created the hotel interior design of a new five-star hotel in Tétouan, set to be the JW Marriott in Morocco. The inspiration for the design of the interiors is drawn from traditional Moroccan patterns, materials and heritage.
Tea lounge, all-day dining room, speciality restaurant, spa and swimming pool are just some of the features of this striking hotel. While respecting the local values, the elegant yet contemporary interiors offer a warm welcome to all hotel guests.
3. Westin Palace- Madrid, Spain
Initiated in 2015 and completed in 2017, this iconic hotel is undergoing renovations of all guest floors to be completed in 6 phases. The contemporary hotel interior design of the guest rooms and corridors incorporates the Spanish identity by using locally inspired patterns in the carpeting and crafted, yet timeless, furniture. Areen Hospitality Design was also appointed as procurement agents for this project.

4. Sheraton, Dushanbe- Dushanbe, Tajikistan
Completed in 2016, Areen Hospitality design’s brief drew inspiration from Dushanbe’s location; close to the Silk Road where traders used to meet and do business. The hotel interior design responds to this heritage and uses locally-sourced decorative elements, alongside high-quality finishes such as marble and hardwoods, in-line with international five-star hotel criteria.
Areen Design was presented with a Five Star Property Award in the Interior Design category at the Asia Pacific Property Awards. Areen Hospitality competed against the best property professionals across the Asia Pacific to be awarded this title for their project Sheraton Dushanbe.
5. Cape Sierra Hilton- Freetown, Sierra Leone
Completed in 2016, The Hilton Freetown Cape Sierra is Sierra Leone’s first Hilton hotel. London-based design practice Areen Hospitality designed and fit out all interiors of this 200 key hotel, including Executive and Presidential suites, Infinity pool, two restaurants and a state of the art business centre.
Areen’s design narrative captures the local heritage, with the furniture and fittings responding to the surrounding landscape and natural beauty of the country. As a key feature, this has been integrated within the double height hotel reception, contained within a 3D sculptural wall representing the natural harmony between Sierra Leone’s landscape and the coastline.
6. Sheraton Zagreb- Zagreb, Croatia
Completed in 2013, Areen Hospitality Design was the interior design firm appointed to renovate this city centre property, one of the first five star hotels in Zagreb.
The existing building’s classic features are accentuated by a contemporary FF&E and colour palette, giving the hotel interior design a feeling of understated luxury and contemporary elegance.
The design team developed bespoke motifs and patterns, subtly reflective of Croatian culture, applied throughout the property in line with Sheraton brand guidelines.
7. Al Azizia Towers, Holiday Inn- Makkah, KSA
London-based design practice Areen Hospitality worked in a hotel interior design of the 1,238-room Holiday Inn in Makkah. The interior design is contemporary with details of the local culture incorporated into the style to give a sense of location.
Clean lines and unfussy detailing, comfortable yet robust furnishings and modern decorative elements, provide all the comfort and modern technology needed for religious travellers. Geometric patterns typical of Arabic culture are used throughout the project with a contemporary direction in the form of screens and wall finishes.
