London Eye, Big Ben, Queen Elizabeth, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park. Wembley, Football, Wimbledon, Tennis. Brexit. If someone thinks about London these are just a few words that flow in the mind. Full of history, full of events and monuments, today London can offer another, different, attraction: Molteni&C|Dada flagship, which will become soon than later as one of the best London showrooms.

The flagship is located on Brompton Road. The architecture respects the building’s original features from the late 1800s. The surface of the flagship store is more than 7,500 square foot and it is focused on home and kitchen furnishings. This is the third store opened in London but it is the first one co-branded. Can we expect more future Molteni London furniture stores?

Vincent Van Duysen handled the design of the store. Italian design brands are known for their elegance and Italian style, in particular, Milanese style, have been the keywords for succeeding in this project. The spirit of the new, unique, evolutionary project is in tune with modernity and true to the Group’s stylistic principles, designed by Vincent Van Duysen.

“A project that succeeds in the search for good living by understanding the architectural making. This leads to feeling at ease in one of the most vibrant cities of the world, London. It is an honour to represent together with Molteni Group the quintessence of Italian design by creating a unique momentum in the city of bankers and creators.” Vincent Van Duysen.

Of course, Van Duysen put his own signature spin on reinterpreting the interior design of the flagship. Floor-to-ceiling glass screens create a secondary inner entrance, beyond which warm hues of walnut clad a breathtaking travertine marble staircase. Neutral shades of grey throughout the interior provide a clean backdrop for the array of furnishings on display. Suspended wood ceilings occasionally incorporate Korean walnut beams and create a playful exploration of space throughout.
