Today we\u2019re delving into one of the most recent events that came to Milan and which will be occurring during Milan Design Week 2019<\/strong><\/em><\/a>. We\u2019re talking about Asia Design Milano<\/strong><\/em>, an initiative dedicated to exposing the best of Oriental Design<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Asia<\/a><\/p>\n

The very first edition of Asia Design Milano was launched last year during the Design Week 2018<\/strong><\/a>, at Megawatt Court<\/strong>. Since then it\u2019s gained the\u00a0patronage of the Milan Municipality, becoming the city\u2019s first showcase of design, architecture and art projects from different parts of Asia. This initiative features art from countries like China, Japan, India, Iran, Korea, Qatar, Thailand, and Turkey.<\/p>\n

Asia Design Milano\u00a0<\/strong>is the result of the teamwork between\u00a0Sarpi\u00a0<\/strong>Bridge_Oriental Design Week <\/strong>and Milano Space Makers.\u00a0<\/strong>This first group, whose work aims to create a bridge between the design works of the East and West, also hosts other outstanding events in Milan such as\u00a0HOMI ASIA DESIGN<\/strong> in\u00a0Fiera Milano<\/strong> and OO!ASIA art + design + food.\u00a0<\/strong>Milano Space Makers<\/strong>, on the other hand, is one of the main players in Zona\u00a0Tortona<\/strong>, having a circuit of approximately 30 exhibition paces under its control.<\/p>\n

This year Asia Design Milano<\/strong> is back and will be showcasing\u00a0a carefully curated selection of established artists, brands and upcoming designers in the Tortona district. The event will be having several different functional areas:\u00a0exhibition, meetings, seminars&conferences, food&relax, and chill out. One of the main initiatives to look out for this year is the\u00a0ASIA Produce-MI\u00a0a free exhibition space which will be featuring new prototypes to be proposed to potential Asian design manufacturers.<\/p>\n
