TheElizabeth Hotel,<\/em>on the edge of Fort Collins\u2019 Old Town,opened its\u2019 doors in early December of 2017, welcoming guests into the music-inspired and regionally influenced 164-room hotel design.\u00a0The Elizabeth Hotel\u00a0<\/em>officially opens its doors in historic Old Town Fort Collins as part of\u00a0Autograph Collection Hotels\u2019 diverse portfolio of more than 125 boutique hotel design<\/strong><\/em><\/a> <\/span>around the world \u2013 all one-of-a-kind properties that champion values of vision, design, and craft. Cultivated by McWHINNEY, a\u00a0Colorado<\/span>-based national real estate development company, and Sage Hospitality, the hotel\u2019s operator, the 164-room hotel design invites guests to explore the adjacent pedestrian-only Firehouse Alley with direct access to shops, dining and community activation.<\/p>\n

The Elizabeth Hotel<\/em><\/strong> boutique hotel design<\/em> warm and inviting decor was thoughtfully considered by Denver-based project architect\u00a04240 Architecture. The interior design, by\u00a0DLR Group, elevates the personality of The\u00a0<\/strong>Elizabeth Hotel<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 a charismatic balance of femininity and masculinity \u2013 by evoking a light and airy ambiance paired with\u00a0aged wood and metal materials that feel\u00a0handcrafted and welcoming. Throughout the The\u00a0Elizabeth Hotel<\/strong><\/em> area design, guests will see custom filigree, intricate metalworking on balconies, and cast plaster ceiling ornamentation. The hotel\u2019s art collection, curated by award-winning Denver-based firm\u00a0NINE dot ARTS, celebrates\u00a0Fort Collins\u2019<\/span>\u00a0adventurous spirit with works by artists local to\u00a0Colorado<\/span>\u00a0and with ties to\u00a0Colorado State University<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The hotel proudly welcomes pets ensuring that those traveling with their furry friends feel right at home. To help to elevate the personality of The Elizabeth\u00a0Hotel<\/em><\/strong> boutique hotel design<\/em>, MAYA armchair<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span> from BRABBU, was the contract furniture solution to be featured for its elegance and female energy combined with the hotel contemporary style.\u00a0DLR Group explains their challenge in a quick interview for BRABBU:<\/p>\n

What was the main inspiration for this project?<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Love of music is inherent in the Fort Collins community, and so played an integral role in inspiring our design for The\u00a0Elizabeth Hotel<\/em><\/strong>. One of the cornerstone amenities of the hotel is its lending library where guests can check\u00a0out musical instruments, equipment, and records. We created spaces in The Elizabeth Hotel<\/strong><\/em> that would\u00a0complement those musical foundations,\u00a0infusing acoustic design into every part of the hotel to enhance the audible experience.<\/p>\n

\"Contract<\/a><\/p>\n

What is your favorite feature of the whole design?<\/strong><\/em> The entire design feels rooted in the\u00a0community\u2019s identity. From the artwork that\u00a0welcomes you as you arrive, to the individual signature suites that each embody a different\u00a0aspect of Fort Collins\u2019 heritage, I love how we\u00a0were able to work with the client and our\u00a0partner firms to create a travel destination\u00a0that connects locals and visitors to the fabric of the city.<\/p>\n
