The reception\u2019s simple design of dark woods and neutral tones allows for the artwork to be the main focus of the area. Guests relax once entering the hotel\u2019s lobby and view the reception desk that features art inspired by nature in the region. A piece of light grey reclaimed wood features a large buffalo as the subject. A knot in the wood becomes the buffalo\u2019s eye.<\/p>\n

The lobby features bold high-gloss finishes, while the detailed marble floors laid in a chevron pattern lead guests to social areas.<\/p>\n

An 11,000-SF grand ballroom, 20,000 SF of meeting space and 16,000 SF of pre-function space make this property an events destination, while the surrounding Capitol District will entertain guests during their downtime.<\/p>\n

The 15,000-SF lobby of Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek<\/strong><\/em> was reconfigured to create an open, social interior design concept<\/em><\/strong> where guests feel comfortable to relax and mingle. Located near Walt Disney World, the hotel receives an eclectic group of guests.<\/p>\n

The lobby of the hotel interior design<\/em><\/strong><\/a> brings guests back in time to a nostalgic, upscale 1960s Florida. With style and glamour, the interior design<\/em><\/strong><\/a> brings the outside in with an open floor plan. The interior\u00a0design firm<\/em><\/strong><\/a> team intertwined the fine details of couture fashion with water. The murals feature a colour scheme of warm ocean blues and reds that continue throughout the space creating pops of colour that stand out against a neutral colour palette of warm taupe.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of the historic Boston Theater District, renovations were inspired by the 1925 grandeur of the original hotel. Palatial impressions surround guests upon entering the hotel with elements such as draperies that mimic theatre curtains in the lobby and create a backdrop for classic stone elements and motifs in the space. Public areas, meeting spaces, and guest rooms are designed using a classic black and white colour palette, with shades of plum and chartreuse to portray a sense of modern glamour.<\/p>\n

9. CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL KEY WEST-LA CONCHA-\u00a0Key West, Florida<\/span>\n<\/h3>\n

The multimillion-dollar renovation of guest rooms and suites for this historic Old Key West hotel<\/strong><\/em> harkens back to the Ernest Hemingway novel, \u201cTo Have or Have Not\u201d, where the hotel and Key West played major roles. The homage to Hemingway is seen in the inclusion of built-in sofas at windows, writing desks, and custom built-in bookcases in each suite.<\/p>\n

A Cuban influence is reflected in the use of wood shutters in place of drapes and the addition of blue ceilings to each room. Existing balconies, with views of historic Duval Street, were treated with new furniture. To integrate a modern hotel interior design<\/strong><\/em><\/a> feel in each guest room, designers used artwork inspired by local roosters, a revered creature on the island.<\/p>\n

10. IRVINE MARRIOTT-\u00a0Irvine, California<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Irvine Marriott<\/strong><\/em> recently relaunched its coastal-themed hotel. Renovations of the lobby, restaurant and bar areas implemented the Marriott Great Room interior design<\/em><\/strong><\/a> concept that features meeting rooms, breakout rooms, anterooms and a business centre. The property\u2019s design palette of soft grey and sand contrast with rich woods, creating a dramatic backdrop for social interaction in the public areas.\u00a0Use of different textures and shadows create the suggestion of movement in the rooms.<\/p>\n

The hotel bar, with inviting sofas and cocktail cubbies, provides space to gather for private conversations and impromptu meetings. Designers incorporated inspiration from the nearby marina through the use of a metallic sculpture that mimics ship rigging.<\/p>\n
