The Luxury Hotel Near Silicon Beach Captures Elements of the Marina in Newly Enhanced Guest Rooms, Suites and Club Lounge. Revealing bright and fresh hotel interior design<\/em><\/strong> rooms that boast stunning water or city views. Under the direction of design firm\u00a0Parker-Torres Design, sea elements have been incorporated into the guest rooms and Club Lounge as part of a seamless continuation of public spaces at the luxury waterfront hotel.<\/p>\n

Design owner Miriam Torres was drawing inspiration from a Southern California sunset, the hotel rooms feature warm hues of orange and gold, as well as crisp, clean blues. Each room features custom-made artwork, as well as distinctive elements such as geode embellished lamps, an ornate sea urchin headboard and textured window curtains adorned with weaving that resembles fishing nets.<\/p>\n

Massachusetts-based Parker-Torres Interior Design Firm<\/a><\/em><\/strong> looked to the Sonoran Desert when it renovated The Phoenician Scottsdale, a Luxury Collection Resort. The local\u00a0flora and fauna inspired an organic approach to the renovation, as well as the resort\u2019s location perched along the base of the Camelback Mountain.<\/p>\n

The hotel interior design<\/a><\/em><\/strong> colour palette used reflects the arid environment, with a burnt sienna similar to the colour of Precambrian granite on the Camelback Mountain and greens replicating the shades seen in the Saguaro Cacti.<\/p>\n

InterContinental D.C.<\/em>\u00a0at the Wharf interior designed by\u00a0Parker-Torres Interior Design Firm<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>A newly hotel interior design<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, 278 room luxury hotel is located in the coveted shores of the Potomac River, the Wharf area, one of the capital\u2019s most exciting neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n

Drawing inspiration from the Potomac River\u2019s industrial waterfront heritage and harmonized it with a modern, international aesthetic.\u00a0The waterfront\u2019s influence can be seen in the sweeping views of the river that greet guests in the urban oasis\u2019 lobby, with spectacular soaring ceilings and plush, relaxed furnishings to complement. Coupled with a striking sculptural staircase replete with a twenty-foot high sparkling droplet chandelier, the public area evokes a sense of calm and tranquillity that parallels the waterside.<\/p>\n

Barbara Parker and Miriam Torres of Boston-based Parker-Torres Design headed the hotel interior design<\/em><\/strong><\/a> renovation, which includes the hotel lobby, 280 guestrooms, 80 suites, and 12,500 square feet of meeting and event space. All now feature an aesthetic rooted in the hotel\u2019s San Francisco Financial District location.<\/p>\n

A coffee house by day and lounge by night, the new lobby space features a monochromatic gridded ceiling in reference to the city streets, and carpet depicting regional cartography.\u00a0Large wallcoverings of topographical maps in the guestrooms similarly portray local geography, with a palette of muted grey and blue hues highlighting the city\u2019s iconic fog and location along the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n
