The original Inn, built in 1816 was designed and built by Purser\u00a0Samuel Hambleton, a\u00a0War of 1812\u00a0Navy veteran and\u00a0aide-de-camp\u00a0to Commodore\u00a0Oliver Hazard Perry.<\/sup>\u00a0Every room beautifully evokes understated 19th-century elegance. This luxury design<\/em> hotel in Malaysia has been a luxurious home away from home for thousands of well-heeled guests from all over the world, including members of royal families, international celebrities, corporate leaders and heads of state.<\/p>\n

6. THE LITTLE NELL- COLORADO, USA<\/h3>\n

In 2017, New York-based interior design firm<\/em><\/a>, Champalimaud Design<\/em>, refreshed the 52 guest rooms, 26 premium guest rooms, eight junior suites and all guest floor corridors, inspired by an \u201cAuthentic Aspen\u201d motif.\u00a0The design pays tribute to both Aspen\u2019s lively and cultural scene, as well as its dynamic history as a charming silver mining town.<\/p>\n

Key features include plush carpet in the guest rooms and corridors, as well as luxurious sensory details ensuite such as navy blue ottomans and plush decorative pillows. New wall coverings behind the colour block headboards are reminiscent of a mid-winter snowstorm or a stand of aspens. Subtle elements of surprise include gilded wallpaper within the gracious closets.<\/p>\n

7. THE STAFFORD \u2013\u00a0\u00a0LONDON, UK<\/h3>\n

After celebrating its centenary in 2012, the Beverly Hills Hotel has undergone a comprehensive restoration, helmed by Champalimaud Design<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 After restoring the lobby, Polo Lounge, and the infamous pool and Cabana Cafe, renovations have begun on the hotel\u2019s legendary bungalows \u2014 maintaining their residential style and privacy while also directed towards modernity this is evident with the newly renovated Bungalow 5, which served as Elizabeth Taylor\u2019s honeymoon destination of choice for six of her eight husbands. Champalimaud Design<\/em> masterfully pays homage to the whimsical references to Elizabeth Taylor\u2019s life, with exquisite floral mosaics and European furniture alluding to her well-known English roots.<\/p>\n

The hotel\u00a0interior design<\/em><\/a> renovation also reveals two new presidential bungalows, soft leather and rich mohair details in subtle shades of taupe, compliment the hotel\u2019s iconic pink and green motifs.
