Hotel Talisa
Hotel Talisa offers sleek sophistication in an idyllic setting, with interior design by LEO A DALY reflecting Vail’s rich history and the spirit of Rocky Mountain adventure.
Luxurious mohair, plush carpet and embroidered window treatments create an opulent backdrop for a collection of furniture evocative of a mountain hideaway. Lounge area furniture accents include forged iron, embossed leather and hand-tufted wool rugs that embody the collection of a world traveler and artisan.
The Diplomat Beach Resort
Emerging from an extensive transformation, The Diplomat Beach Resort is an oceanfront, experiential destination resort that brings iconic hospitality design back.
The Hotel Bar, a new indoor/outdoor lounge bar experience, was created to become a focal element for guests to see and be seen, and at the same time, not detract from the ocean views.
Doubletree Newark Airport Hotel
The design of Doubletree Newark Airport Hotel was inspired by the property’s proximity to the Newark Airport and the travel experience. Think of a classic business traveler. The lounge area design was crafted with a tailored, nostalgic theme in mind.
Like the privacy of an airport club, these spaces give guests a place to get away for a cocktail and conversation. Flowing drapery and soft lounge furniture design soften the sounds that once echoed throughout a large atrium.

Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes
The bar and lounge interior design, now, has a timeless feel in the same vein as a luxurious European home. Structurally, the floor height around the bar and lobby was raised to help with circulation and the bar itself was enlarged and moved to the center of the space, becoming the focal point of the new lobby.
The Marriott Boulder
The Marriott Boulder’s captivating surroundings inspired the revitalized design of the hotel’s reception and lounge areas.
Throughout the lounge, guests can sit back and relax on “found” pieces of furniture that are made of aged leather that will continue to wear to show the furniture’s history. The bar has an easygoing atmosphere made of simple reclaimed wood and finishes of authentic flat iron details. The lounge’s fireplace entices guests to sit and unwind after an active day around a warm fire. A plush banquet sits under a wall made of repurposed belts, and the cocktail cubby’s stone backing elements play up the area’s rural history.
Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek
The 15,000-SF lobby of Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek was reconfigured to create an open, social environment where guests feel comfortable to relax and mingle.
The lounge area design brings guests back in time to a nostalgic, upscale 1960s Florida. With style and glamour, the design brings the outside in with an open floor plan. Leo A Daly designers intertwined the fine details of couture fashion with water. The murals feature a color scheme of warm ocean blues and reds that continue throughout the space creating pops of color that standout against a neutral color palette of warm taupe.
Irvine Marriott
The porte-cochere was redesigned by Leo A Daly for an elegant greeting. The lobby lounge area design features bold high-gloss finishes, while the detailed marble floors laid in a chevron pattern lead guests to social areas. The great room was designed with contemporary touches, creating where guests feel a part of something special. Mimicking the interior of a luxury automobile, the neutral palette of taupe, brown and ivory are highlighted by polished chrome accents.
Sofitel Makkah
The lobby lounge design space is defined by crystal chandeliers, white lacquered Arabic screens, and a uniquely carved focal stair. The grand-scale hotel lobbies accommodate seating areas, coffee lounges, and additional amenities for a large number of travelers at any one time.

Doubletree Makkah
The LEO A DALY design team created a design that illustrates respect for the Muslim faith and culture. Designers used a traditional Arabic pattern all through the hotel that was sized to scale to create dramatic statements in backlit screens, etched floor patterns, and an enveloping trellis that greets the guests upon entry. The hotel has grand scale lobbies to house large numbers of guests traveling through at one time.
Colorado Springs Marriott
The renovated lobby is all about that connection to nature. A rich palette of earth tones, wood and iron finishes brings the colors and textures of the mountains into the hotel, capitalizing on the surrounding natural environment.
Flexible seating and communal tables were introduced for individuals and groups to work or relax with a game of chess while enjoying the mountain view. The result bridges the gap between the leisure and business traveler, accommodating both groups without leisure travelers feeling they are part of a convention.
