The Penny Hoarder, one of the largest financial advice websites in the world, hired Empire Office to furnish the company’s office in St. Petersburg, Florida. A variety of furniture items, sound masking technology and art features were selected for the private offices, workstations, company lounge, reception and a variety of open collaborative spaces.
Empire Office worked directly with RCL Corporate to create a collaborative space that fosters creativity for the Digital Experience team at Royal Caribbean. The objective was to easily allow the digital team to work in groups and share ideas. Bold colours were used to create a design statement. Steelcase privacy walls separate spaces, allowing privacy with transparency. Other manufacturers such as Coalesse, Kimball and Logiflex were used to create brightly coloured, collaborative, casual working areas.
For this on-going phased re-stack of 8 floors, Empire Office provided all project management, furniture, delivery and installation services for the New York City headquarters of S&P Global. With over 20 manufacturers used the colourful and fresh workspace features ‘ideation’ spaces, private offices, collaboration booths, phone rooms and multiple conference rooms for multipurpose use. Additional amenities include large and small pantries, a game room and a wellness room.
Empire Office completed the new Xenia Hotels & Resorts office in downtown Orlando. Xenia owns a diversified portfolio of high-quality lodging properties operated by industry leaders such as Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton. Empire’s dual locations in Tampa and Orlando ensured that it had the product solutions and resources to complete the job as requested.
Discovery Day Academy wanted to design a space that was flexible and visually engaging to meet the needs of their 21st-century learners. Empire Office, together with the team from Steelcase Education, provided products that aligned with the school’s pedagogy and the educational innovations they were seeking for their new campus.

The Raine Group, a global integrated merchant bank, collaborated with Gensler and Empire Office to design and furnish their new NYC headquarters in Park Avenue Tower. The space is bright and open with many furniture items featuring a mix of materials, including concrete, solid oak, and blackened steel finishes.
Global media company Condé Nast worked with the Design Republic and Empire Office to refurbish their multi-floor headquarters at 1 World Trade Center, resulting in a sophisticated and stunning space with warm tones sprinkled throughout the furniture selections. An expert in style and design, Condé Nast sought a workspace transformation that would fulfil the values and expectations of its young and diverse workforce.
Empire and Gensler collaborated on the two buildings that now house the company’s growing operations and created a fresh open office environment that features 120-degree workstations, cafeterias, game rooms, training rooms, a health and wellness centre, various breakout areas and more. Steelcase Answer workstations provide an airy feel for employees while also limiting noise exposure throughout the floor. Additionally, Hamilton lockers allow employees to store their personal belongings, reducing workspace clutter.
This multinational financial services company partnered with Empire Office on the relocation of their Houston, TX office. Located in a landmark building in heart of downtown Houston, this office drew on the guiding design principles developed by its design firm, HOK.
Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Manhattan-based non-profit cancer centre, recently partnered with Empire Office to design and furnish their new two-floor cancer centre hospital in Bergen, NJ. MSK’s goal was to transform their existing corporate headquarters into a relaxing and comforting care centre closer to their patients. Empire helped select various ancillary manufacturers to equip several waiting areas with a re-symmetrical feel to help patients and visiting family feel at home during their stay. The new hospital now also includes private infusion rooms to allow patients privacy and relaxation while receiving treatment.
